Our Kids’ Corner gives young children a supervised place
to play while you enjoy the club’s facilities.

Reservations for the Kids’ Corner can be made a day in advance and only by the Kids’ Corner staff. Hours of operation:

Monday – Fridayiiii8:15 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Birthday parties

Community Events
American Red Cross Blood Drives. Give the gift of life!  Wayside hosts blood drives in the summer and during times of critical need. We encourage our members and guests to participate, and provide refreshments, raffles for prizes and giveaways. Back to top

Spin For Hope® (March). Join Wayside members and guests as they participate in the annual American Cancer Society’s Spin For Hope to raise funds for research. 

Scholastic Book Fair (summer). This is one of our most popular events for parents and children.  We set up a “bookstore” in our lobby, where you can choose from a variety of quality children’s literature and reading incentive gift items. All proceeds benefit the Akiruno City Cultural Exchange program which sends Marlborough Middle School students to Japan, and in exchange, hosts Japanese students who come to Marlborough.

With our 52’ Plasma high-definition television, fully licensed bar, comfortable seating and good friends, Fenway Park, Gillette Stadium and the Garden never looked so good!  Join us for the game!

Outdoor Snack Bar (summer only)

Choose from a variety of summer fare, including hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks, frozen treats and snacks. And you can always grab a quick snack from any of our vending machines. Back to top

Health and fitness seminars and events
Wayside has periodic seminars and events that are designed to provide our members with information that can improve their wellness. Check our Bulletin for upcoming events.

Massage therapy services
Wayside has a relaxing, quiet room dedicated to massage therapy.  We also have a number of licensed massage therapists (both male and female) on staff that can help you move better and feel better. Massage therapy has many health benefits, including:

• Improved general muscle tissue flexibility
• Reduces muscle cramps and spasms
• Decreased anxiety, stress, and depression
• Enhanced sense of well-being with mind, body, and spirit
• Identification and relief of areas of stress and /or tension
• Relief of trigger or tender points
• Breaking up of adhesions to facilitate proper healing
• Increased mental focus
• Improved sleep patterns

Social events for seniors
National Health and Fitness Luncheon (May). Always held the last Wednesday in May, which is Older Americans Month, our luncheon includes a buffet, entertainment and an awards presentation. 

Fortin Fit For Life Award. Named in honor of George Fortin, one of our most inspirational and active members, this award is presented annually at our National Health and Fitness Luncheon to a senior who demonstrates a dedication and a healthy attitude toward a lifetime of fitness. Back to top
